On 19th January 2006, Russian tennis player Danila Hantuchova defeated defending champion Serena Williams in the Australian Open. Although there was a rain-delay, Hantuchova beat Williams 6-1 7-6 (7-5). Williams did not perform to her best and seemed to struggle throughout. But at the same time, you can't discredit Hantuchova, who has never beaten Williams before. So, congratulations to her and heres wishing her all the best for the Australian Open. Although I must say, GO SHARAPOVA!!!
